For higher flow applications where operational redundancy is required, the speed-controlled RAINMASTER® Favorit SC Duplex pumps can be configured in parallel operation. The RAINMASTER® units are interconnected via a data cable, enabling direct communication and coordinated control. Each Favorit SC unit operates in tandem and separately with programmed alternating control. Conventional multi-pump configurations generally rely on a single central control system and a shared backup connection in which a component failure can result in the loss of water service to the building. In contrast, the RAINMASTER® Favorit SC design eliminates this single point of failure: if one unit becomes inoperative, the remaining unit continues to function independently, maintaining uninterrupted supply. This setup provides enhanced reliability, fault tolerance, and operational security in critical applications.
