High-speed door with fire curtain EI120

This door gets its name from the combination of a high-speed door and an EI120 fire curtain. It consists of two parallel curtains, one for operation as a high-speed door and the other as a fire curtain. Both tarpaulins are rolled up inside an integrated head. Each of them has its own independent drive system to optimise the operating characteristics.

This innovative solution combines the advantages of a high-speed door that offers speed and usability with those of a fire door that provides fire protection. The door gets its name from the combination of a high-speed roll-up door and an EI120 fire curtain. It consists of two panels in parallel, one for operations as a high-speed door and the other as a fire curtain. Both curtains are rolled up inside an integrated head. Each of them has its own independent drive system to optimise the operating characteristics. In normal conditions, the fire curtain remains rolled up inside the head and the door operates as a standard self-repairing door. If fire signal is activated, the fire curtain close the entrance, isolating both sides of the door and preventing fire from passing through. This is a self-repairing door. In the event of an impact, the curtain comes out of the guide to prevent it from breaking and when the lifting mechanism of the door is activated, the side zip is reinserted into the guide, allowing its normal use.
