    Aluminium acoustic window system with a basic depth of 90 mm in AC (Acoustics)

    The Schüco AWS 90 AC.SI (Thermally Super Insulated) is a window system that is particularly suitable for buildings in a noisy environment that can be opened for ventilation while leaving the disturbing traffic noise outside.

    • Thermal insulation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1077-2  Uf = 0,8 - 1,3 W/(m²K)
    • Sound insulation: closed vent Rw 47 dB; vent tilt position 31 to 34 dB
    • Burglar resistance in accordance with DIN V ENV 1627 Class RC1
    • Air permeability in accordance with DIN EN 12207 Class 4
    • Watertightness in accordance with DIN EN 12208 Class 9a

    • Schüco AWS 90 AC.SI, aluminium acoustic window in 90 mm basic installation depth with turn/tilt opening.

      Function:
      Single-pane turn/tilt window for sound-insulated natural ventilation. Sound-insulated natural window ventilation in tilt position. In the tilt position, the air is guided through sound-insulating cassettes integrated into the profile. In tilt position, at least a sound insulation value of 31 dB and an air volume flow of 28 m³/h at 10 Pa pressure difference must be achieved. The inspection of the air duct for cleaning or cassette replacement must be carried out with the window sash open from the frame rebate. Cleaning of the outer glass pane from the inside must be made possible by turning the window sash completely open. 

      Construction features:
      Room-side opening sash frame with 10 mm surface offset to the frame level, outside flush with the surface.
      Heat-insulating bars with foam insulation guided in the trough. Hollow-chamber centre seal for convection reduction and additional flexible tube seal for sound insulation in tilt position are positioned circumferentially on special stop profile. 
      The centre seal and the flexible hose seal are connected to the insulation bars in the area of the insulation zone by means of a double receiving groove and hooking behind on one side.
      Replaceable sound insulation cassettes are integrated in the upper frame with top profile. An opening limiter integrated in the fitting enables a defined tilt position for sound-insulated natural window ventilation.
      The glazing rebate must be thermally insulated by means of foam profiles matched to the profile system, which surround the outer insulating glass edge. 
      The system shall be equipped with rectangular glazing beads. 
      The glazing beads are mounted using tolerance-compensating PVC-U holders.
