URSA XPS extruded polystyrene products are excellent thermal insulators with many advantages. Their closed cell structure allows for very low thermal conductivity and high levels of thermal insulation. URSA XPS also has excellent mechanical properties, with a compressive strength of 300 kPa. This, combined with low water absorption, makes URSA XPS an excellent choice for thermal insulation of pitched roofs.
