The Chief Thinstall™ Swing Arm Display Mount is a full-motion wall mount built around an ultra-thin base plate that collapses to a very low profile against the wall when the display is pushed flat, while still extending out on an articulating arm when the display needs to be pulled forward, angled, or swung to the side for viewing or servicing. The family spans seven models — TS110SU, TS118SU, TS218SU, TS318SU, TS318TU, TS325TU, and TS525TU — covering displays from roughly 10 in up to 58 in and weight capacities of approximately 35 to 125 lb (15.9–56.7 kg) depending on the specific model.
Full arm extension reaches up to about 25 in (635 mm) on the largest models, letting a display be pulled well away from the wall for a better viewing angle or for access behind it. Chief’s Centerless lateral shift provides up to roughly 16 in (406 mm) of side-to-side repositioning after installation, ControlZone allows up to about 1 in (25 mm) of post-install height adjustment, and the Centris tilt mechanism gives fingertip tilt control down to -12° or -15° depending on the model. Cable management is enclosed and tool-less, and Glide Lock latching allows the display to be attached and released from the arm without tools.
VESA compatibility ranges from 200 x 200 mm on the smallest models (TS110SU/TS118SU) up to 800 x 400 mm on the largest (TS525TU). The line is UL Listed, and the TS318TU, TS325TU, and TS525TU models carry OSHPD pre-approval documentation for California healthcare and seismic-sensitive installations. Optional TA500, TA501, and TA502 in-wall recess boxes let the swing arm hardware be concealed within the wall cavity for a near-flush appearance when the arm is collapsed, and a range of TA100/200/300/350/410 accessory shelves adds mounting positions for components, cameras, speakers, and portrait-orientation hardware.
The combination of a thin collapsed profile with long reach when extended makes the Thinstall Swing Arm line a common choice for corporate AV, huddle and conference rooms, video conferencing setups, education spaces, and home theater installations where the display needs to sit close to the wall most of the time but still be pulled out and repositioned for use or service.
