    CFAB™ Cellulose Absorptive Acoustical Panels

    CFAB Cellulose-Based Acoustical Panels

CFAB cellulose acoustical panels are made with a unique blend of 65-75% recycled fibers. They offer an environmentally friendly solution for acoustical panels. The panels are cost-effective, easy, and safe to handle and install. Most panels are installed onto the walls or ceiling with adhesives, but stick pins and washers can also be used. The most common applications for the CFAB Cellulose panels are in areas where aesthetics is of less importance, or in applications where they are used as an acoustical backer for a site-stretched fabric system. Some typical applications for the CFAB panels include industrial or mechanical applications, breweries or tap rooms, absorbent panels for behind stretched fabric or linear/slatted wooden walls or ceilings, under tables and chairs or in other situations where the room or space is going for an industrial / recycled aesthetic.

    • Controls reflections and deadens sounds within a room
    • Easy to handle and install – No special equipment required
    • Class A fire rating
    • Resists mold growth
    • Made from renewable and recycled fibers
    • Low VOC Emissions – Passes CDPH V1.2 Test Standard and can contribute to LEED V4.1 EQ Credit: Low-Emitting Materials

    Applications:
Industrial or mechanical applications where a low cost, high absorption product is more important than aesthetics, breweries or tap rooms, absorbent panels for behind stretched fabric or linear/slatted wooden walls or ceilings, under tables and chairs or in other situations where the room or space is going for an industrial / recycled aesthetic.

    Specifikation
    • For spaces where cost‑effective performance and sustainability matter more than aesthetics, CFAB cellulose acoustical panels provide a really good solution. Made from a unique blend of 65–75% recycled acoustic material, these cellulose acoustic panels create an eco‑friendly sound control option that is safe to work with, easy to handle, and simple to install. Whether adhered directly to walls and ceilings or mounted with stick pins and washers, they are designed for straightforward use in both professional and DIY acoustic panel core applications.

CFAB panels are engineered to function as noise absorption boards and sound absorption boards for echo control, helping to reduce reflections and reverberation in demanding environments. Their performance as high NRC cellulose acoustic panels makes them ideal for industrial noise control panels, acoustic panels for industrial and mechanical spaces, and brewery and tap room sound absorption panels where a rugged, recycled aesthetic is part of the design intent. They are equally effective as cellulose panels for STC wall assemblies, serving as an acoustical backer behind stretched fabric or slatted wood systems.

Safety and durability are built into every panel. Classified as Class A fire rated acoustic panels, they meet stringent building codes while also functioning as mold resistant cellulose acoustical panels. Manufactured with an EPA‑registered fungicide, they resist mold growth and degradation, ensuring long‑term reliability. As low VOC acoustic panels, they pass CDPH V1.2 standards and can contribute to sustainable acoustical solutions for LEED projects, cellulose panels for WELL and Living Building Challenge credits, and other green manufacturing acoustic panels initiatives.

Made from renewable fiber acoustical panels, CFAB products are not only eco‑friendly cellulose acoustic panels but also recyclable acoustic panels that support sustainable acoustics in modern construction. Their versatility extends to classrooms, community spaces, and hospitality environments, where cellulose acoustical panels for classrooms and community spaces provide effective reverberation reduction acoustic panels without compromising safety or environmental goals.

Available in multiple thicknesses and densities, CFAB panels offer flexibility for different acoustic requirements.

For designers, builders, and facility managers seeking easy install cellulose acoustic panels that combine noise absorption boards with environmental responsibility, CFAB delivers. It is the CFAB cellulose acoustical panel solution that balances performance, safety, and sustainability—ideal for projects where acoustics matter, but aesthetics take a back seat to practicality and eco‑conscious design.
