Brages Preschool in Hyllie is one of NCC’s pilot projects for climate-efficient construction, combining a cross-laminated timber (CLT) structure and low-carbon concrete with a slate façade and a roof finished with gold-coloured standing seam metal roofing. The result is an architectural expression that truly stands out. For us at CW Lundberg, the project became a clear example of how safety and design can go hand in hand. We supplied custom powder-coated roof safety products designed to harmonise with the building’s colour scheme and overall aesthetic. Roof Safety That Complements the Design Creating a cohesive visual appearance required solutions that met all technical requirements while blending seamlessly with the building’s architectural design. The products were coated in a gold colour that integrates naturally into the overall look. The delivery included: Safety guardrails powder-coated in a colour that follows the overall design concept Roof walkways powder-coated to match the roof Fixings adapted for standing seam roofing and coated in the same colour Roof ladder in a matching colour Roof hatch powder-coated to integrate seamlessly into the overall solution Designed Safety Solutions with Long Service Life The powder-coated products are manufactured from steel with a zinc-magnesium coating, providing excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The combination of powder coating and zinc-magnesium protection ensures that the solutions are not only aesthetically appealing but also highly resistant to weathering and wear. Our products come with a 40-year warranty in environments classified as Corrosivity Category C4. Benefits: High corrosion resistance Long service life and reduced future maintenance requirements
