3" LokPlate™ Plastic Downspout Nozzle w/ Self-Locking Escutcheon Plate

The LokPlate™ Downspout Nozzle is a non-pressurized exterior drainage termination component designed to direct roof and stormwater runoff away from building walls and foundations while improving exterior appearance and reducing staining and erosion. The nozzle is designed for use with standard Schedule 40/80 PVC and ABS DWV piping systems and is available in 2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8”, and 10” sizes. Standard colors include Black, Matte Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Tuscan Bronze.

Each assembly includes:

• ASA downspout nozzle (i.e., cow tongue)
• Patent-pending self-locking escutcheon plate (field-installation optional)
• Optional bird screen model included within the BIM download package (sold separately)

1. Theft-Resistant Alternative to Metal

Unlike cast bronze, brass, or nickel bronze downspout nozzles, ASA construction provides no scrap or recycling value, helping reduce theft risk while offering a lightweight and economical alternative for exterior drainage terminations.

2. Hardware-Free Installation

The patent-pending escutcheon plate locks directly onto the nozzle without screws, anchors, or adhesives, helping reduce installation time while avoiding unnecessary wall penetrations or exterior surface damage. The escutcheon incorporates a raised standoff ring geometry that provides clearance around the pipe opening, allowing the plate to sit flush against the wall even when debris or surface irregularities are present. The nozzle's locking track accommodates uneven or imperfect pipe terminations commonly encountered in field conditions (e.g., drainage pipe is too short, too long, or crooked)

3. UV-Resistant ASA Construction

Components are injection molded from UV-stabilized ASA polymer, a high-performance styrenic material engineered for long-term outdoor exposure. Color is molded throughout the material itself rather than applied as a surface coating. This improves long-term appearance and eliminates concerns associated with peeling or chipped paint finishes.
