    ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR™ - Rapid-Set, Flexible Tile and Stone Mortar

Weather resistant tile adhesive with ARDEX Weather Proof Technology

ARDEX WEATHER PROOF TECHNOLOGY: Ready for any weather! High initial strength even at low temperatures, highest frost-thaw change resistance, long processing time even at high temperatures and after only 2 hours drip-proof. With the innovative ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR MICROTEC3 flexible adhesive you are well prepared for the unpredictability of the weather. Because when working outdoors, the weather conditions play a crucial role. But these are often unpredictable. That's why working outdoors is always associated with a certain risk. Equipped with the new ARDEX WEATHER PROOF TECHNOLOGY, ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR offers maximum installation safety even in difficult weather conditions. Furthermore, ARDEX X 90 convinces with excellent processing properties such as fully-saturated embedding without fluid bed behavior and a variable consistency setting. ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR meets the requirements C2 FTE S1 according to EN 12004/12002 and is very low emission EC 1 PLUS R according to GEV EMICODE.

Cool weather does not provide the ideal conditions for laying tiles and slabs on balconies and terraces. However, laying under these conditions is often unavoidable. ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR is a cementitious laying mortar which fulfills the properties of a fast adhesive even at cool temperatures and can be walked on and supplied after approx. 3 hours. Thus, the ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR offers high composite security even at low temperatures. In addition, ARDEX X 90 is equipped with the new MICROTEC3 technology and exceeds the C2 freeze-thaw change requirements according to EN 12004 many times over. So even frequent temperature changes around the freezing point can not damage the adhesive.

It often happens that when laying balconies and terraces very warm temperatures prevail. These can be air, but also underground temperatures. Conventional instant adhesives are even faster, and therefore hold a very high risk potential for later damage by a very short processing and insertion time. Thanks to its special formulation, the ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR retains a high processing time, even at high temperatures. The covering can thus be laid comfortably and safely even at high temperatures.

No damage from heavy rainfall. Even in the most glorious weather and sunshine, it can happen that during laying on balconies and terraces, thunderstorms and rain showers. Such sudden and unexpected showers can lead to excessive flushing of various constituents in the still fresh adhesive during the setting phase and thus permanently disrupt or weaken the adhesive bond. After only 2 hours, the ARDEX X 90 OUTDOOR is resistant to showers and driving rain, providing a further safety component for damage-free outdoor installation.
