Acoustic insulation against airborne noise and impact noise from slabs, by installing the high-density asphalt-free synthetic polymer-based soundproofing complex and 7.6 kg/m2, 14 mm thick porous textile fibre felt TECSOUND® FT 75 on the slab, placed butt-to-head between sheets and the joint sealed using the TECSOUND S50 BAND 50 strip and finished with a mortar sheet and pavement with a total thickness of 54 mm, reducing the overall impact noise pressure level ΔLw by 22 dB and overall standardised impact noise pressure level LnTw=56 dB.
