DIVA RS fire-rated double sliding door

The DIVA RS EI₂30 fire rated door is designed to stop the spread of fire in all types of premises, particularly in public-access buildings. It ensures occupant safety and allows for the evacuation of the building for up to 30 minutes.

It offers an innovative combination of technologies to meet daily safety, comfort, and accessibility needs.

Several configurations are available: a single door with one sliding leaf opening to the right or left, or a double door with two sliding leaves with central opening, with or without fixed leaves. The door is equipped with a powerful operator ensuring reliable operation and capable of moving leaves weighing up to 1 × 200 kg or 2 × 200 kg.

The door can be installed on:
- a BA13 fire-rated partition
- concrete wall
- a fire-rated glazed façade with fixed panels and a transom window

Specification

Supply and installation of a double automatic fire-rated door type PORTALP DIVA RS FIRE RATED EI230.

The header containing the mechanism is made of extruded aluminum :
- mechanism height: 200 mm
- hinged cover with upward opening or easily removable to facilitate access to the mechanism
- drive mechanism with a rolling rail reducing noise and vibration
- two roller carriages per leaf, equipped with anti-derailment rollers and adjustable suspensions

The operator is equipped with:
- a universal switching power supply (110V–230V, 50–60 Hz), low power consumption, compatible with all electrical networks
- a brushless motor for precise control, ensuring smooth leaf movement, optimal quiet operation, reduced energy consumption, and long service life
- a backup power supply in case of a power failure
- a control unit managing door operation, communicating with all peripherals, and continuously monitoring door diagnostics
- a CAN bus technology enabling fast and reliable connectivity while reducing interference

Each sliding leaf is made of an aluminum frame
- 56 mm frame profiles designed with 3 chambers equipped with thermal breaks
- Intumescent seals around the entire perimeter of the leaf, expanding under heat exposure
- Contraflam 30 fire-rated glazing
- Protective frame with a cladding surround for the partition
- Leaves assembled using non-silicone rebate joints allowing for quick glass replacement
- 8 mm anti-finger-trap side gaps between two sliding planes, compliant with EN 16005
- Custom finishes available in RAL colors or anodized finish

The door is equipped with safety devices to ensure the protection of users and the building, adapted to each application:
- passage safety via indoor/outdoor sensors combining microwave and infrared technologies
- opening safety via infrared light curtains
- backup battery
- electromechanical locking

Fire safety:
The door includes a manual release device and a reset control requiring deliberate action. Upon activation of the manual release, the door closes mechanically using a mechanical counterweight system.

Various control systems can be added to the installation to facilitate operation or manage entry/exit access:
- remote control of the door via smartphone using Bluetooth Low Energy
- dedicated Android or iOS application
- digital display console, wall-mounted or cover-mounted
- key-operated mode selector
- additional input/output cards allowing management of other peripherals or access control systems
