Four basic operations available
Stiles and top rail are a nominal 4-5/8" wide, with optional 6" wide
Bottom rail is a nominal 7-9/16" wide, with optional 4-5/8" or 12" wide
Minimum basic jamb is 6-9/16"
Panels are nominal 1-3/4" and 2-1/4" thick

Configurations

Configurations for Kolbe's Folding Doors

Outswing operation
Maximum of 8 panels per side, units can offer up to 45' of unobstructed views
4 basic operations available:

panels being folded all to one side
split and then folded on either side of the opening
floating configuration, allows panels to be put on either side of the opening
access door configuration, intended to allow easy exit/entry

Access door configuration will have a swing door hinged off of one of the sides of the frame or off of another panel, depending upon the configuration chosen. Configurations can be reversed.

Exterior Finish/Colors

Extruded Aluminum Cladding - Frame

Durable .050" thick cladding of 6063 extruded aluminum alloy
Press-fit onto the exterior wood frame

Extruded Aluminum Cladding - Door Sash

Sash exterior is covered with .062" thick, 6063 extruded aluminum alloy
Press-fit onto the exterior wood sash

Fluoropolymer Finish

Meets performance requirements of AAMA 2605-05 – the most stringent testing procedures for organic coatings on aluminum extrusions
70% fluoropolymer exterior finish
Resists chemicals, abrasion, corrosion, chalking and erosion
Maintains film integrity, retains the color and gloss
30-year warranty extended directly to the homeowner (view Warranties)
Warranty is transferable to subsequent homeowners
Over 30 vibrant colors to choose from
Custom colors are available; simply provide a sample to your dealer
