Box Roller Blinds | Shades Z-Box

Bandalux roller shade with the Z-Box system with alternating-current motor for indoor or outdoor installation. The Z-Box shade has two extruded profiles that are assembled together to form an outer box, to protect and hide the fabric and the components of the shade. The front profile (front cover of the box) can be opened to afford access to the inside, with no need to take the entire shade down. The Z-BOX roller shade is a self-supporting system. The fabric is rolled up and down via aluminum tubes with a diameter of 65 or 83 mm, depending on the size of the shade. This system guarantees that the fabric will never come out of the aluminum side channels and offers total darkness, thanks to the aluminum ZIP channels on the sides. On both sides of the fabric, a zipper is heatsealed into the fabric along a PVC profile located inside the aluminum side channels. This serves to dampen the stress on the fabric (stemming from the elements, such as the wind) and therefore preventing the fabric from coming out of the channels or tearing. As a counterweight, the shade has an extruded aluminum bottom rail in view with a Qualicoat-lacquered or anodized Qualanod finish in the lower section, to keep the fabric tensed and guarantee its correct rolling. The colors of the profile and decorative elements are coordinated with the color of the fabric or in keeping with customer specifications. The self-supporting system optionally offers the wall- or ceiling support for the installation of the box.
