MinWool® Window Wall Insulation

Johns Manville MinWool Window Wall Insulation is a lightweight, flexible, sound-absorbing, fire-resistant mineral wool batt designed primarily for use in glass and metal window wall systems. It offers superior fire resistance plus excellent thermal and acoustical insulating properties for the framed cavities found in window wall spandrels and shadow boxes.

Made from inorganic basalt fibers, the product is non-combustible, moisture-resistant, and resists the growth of mold and mildew. Its flexible batt form makes it well suited to friction-fit installation between window-wall framing members, where lower density than a full curtainwall product is acceptable.
