QF Long Radius Elbow 14ga

Nordfab manufactures ducting for use in dust, mist, and fume collection systems.

Quick-Fit^® 14 gauge Elbows have rolled ends for use with Quick-Fit Clamps, allowing quick assembly / disassembly and relocation. Learn more about the advantages of Quick-Fit ducting.

Available in 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30° with a radius of 2.5. Other CLRs available upon request. Standard 1.5 radius 14ga elbows are also available.

All 14 gauge elbows are supplied in solid-welded construction, providing a leak-free seam. Elimination of air leakage improves dust collection system efficiency, providing energy cost savings.

Because elbows are a ductwork component which typically experiences higher wear than other components, 14 gauge, 12 gauge and 10 gauge elbows are an excellent alternative for standard duty elbows which may have required frequent replacement.

This is a directional elbow supplied with an arrow to indicate the direction of flow.

Available in Galvanized or optional carbon steel
Available with flanged ends in diameters up to 72", and other various end styles. Please specify direction if ordering ends other than QF.
Elbows in even heavier gauges can be supplied in solid welded construction at an additional cost. Optional gauges standard 22 or 20, 18, 16, 12 and 10

A. General Fabrication Requirements: Comply with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," Ch. 3, "Round, Oval, and Flexible Duct," based on indicated static-pressure class unless otherwise indicated.
1. Construct ducts of galvanized sheet steel unless otherwise indicated.
2. Basis-of-Design Product: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide Nordfab Ducting, LLC; Quick Fit (QF) Duct.
B. Connection Joints: Joint types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Quick Fit Joints in Ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter. Flange: Optional.
2. Flanged Joints in All Ducts Greater than 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter.
C. Longitudinal Seams: Seam types are fabricated in accordance with SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible," Figure 3-2, "Round Duct Longitudinal Seams," for static-pressure class, applicable sealing requirements, materials involved, duct-support intervals, and other provisions in SMACNA's "HVAC Duct Construction Standards - Metal and Flexible."
1. Fabricated round ducts 3 to 24 inches (76 to 510 mm) in diameter to have laser-welded or plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
2. Fabricated round ducts above 24 inches (610 mm) in diameter to have plasma-welded longitudinal seams.
