National Gallery, London, UK
The National Gallery in London was modernized with a custom-made glass roof from LAMILUX: a formerly open courtyard was covered with a filigree LAMILUX PR60 glass roof, transforming it into a light-flooded atrium. The historic building was sensitively preserved, while the high-quality technical solution with smoke and heat exhaust vents ensures daylight, fresh air, and safety—light is deliberately used here as a central architectural and curatorial element.
