ProtectoR® HD High-Density Polyiso Cover Board

Johns Manville ProtectoR HD is a 1/2" thick high-density polyiso cover board that provides excellent resistance against harsh rooftop conditions, including hail, wind uplift, puncture, and moisture. Its closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core technology delivers additional insulation value (R-2.5) along with lightweight handling and low water absorption.

ProtectoR HD has the lowest fastening rates on the market for an HD polyiso cover board — up to 50 percent fewer fasteners are needed to achieve FM I-90. Installation follows the same guidelines as Invinsa and polyiso insulations, with joints butted tightly and offset a minimum of 6 inches; boards are secured with appropriate fasteners and flat-bottom plates or adhered with low-rise urethane foam adhesive.
