This system, made up of high-density polyethylene modules with a honeycomb design, is conceived as an eco-sustainable solution for the construction of car parks, driveways, driveways and parking areas. Its ‘green’ nature not only respects the environment, but also helps reduce flooding in urban areas by allowing rainwater to infiltrate naturally into the ground. Unlike impermeable surfaces such as concrete or asphalt, the integration of gravel areas favours the creation of natural habitats for insects and small animals, as well as providing aesthetic and recreational benefits.
This gravel-saving system provides soil consolidation and can be used immediately by vehicles and requires only standard care. Gravel cover in the gravel saver area is approximately 90 per cent, facilitating rainwater drainage.
In addition, this system offers high compressive strength values, adapting to the underlying soil type, subgrade and relative thicknesses. Thanks to the HDPE material, the honeycomb modules are resistant to weathering, temperature variations and UV damage, while remaining protected from the attack of microorganisms and chemicals in the soil.
