How interesting and exciting can a seat really be?

Endlessly, we think. The construction, the uses, the fabric, the details and—not least—the design. That’s what we find most fun. Especially when it involves custom solutions. Almost all of our deliveries are unique. It can depend on the layout of the venue, the acoustics, or the occasion for which the seats are to be used. All production takes place in our own factory in Älmhult, in the province of Småland. This is where we design, bend sheet metal, paint, and create everything from auditorium chairs to telescopic grandstands and fixed stadium seating. Over the years, we have delivered more than 250,000 seats to arenas, concert halls, schools, and community centers across Sweden. Since spring 2021, we have been owned by the Jönköping-based investment company Inev.

Avicii Arena

To Sweden’s most iconic indoor arena, Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Alfing Seating has delivered a total of 13,500 modern seats.
The project included both fixed seating and telescopic grandstands, with a focus on high comfort, functionality, and design adaptation for large-scale events.
The new arena design enables flexible configurations for different types of events while also improving acoustics for a first-class sound experience.

This delivery is one of our largest to date and marks another step in our commitment to providing innovative and sustainable seating solutions for world-class arenas.
